- Student Data Confidentiality: All student data, including submissions and AI-generated feedback, is treated with the highest level of confidentiality. We process this data solely for the purpose of providing the marking and feedback services requested by you.
- Data Security: We implement robust industry-standard security measures (encryption in transit and at rest) to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.
3. AI Usage Policy
Our services leverage artificial intelligence to provide feedback and analysis. By using these features, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- AI as a Tool: Our AI is designed to be a supportive assistant for educators. The final judgment on student work always rests with the human user. AI-generated feedback should always be reviewed and moderated by the teacher before being distributed to students.
- No Training on Your Data: To provide AI-powered features, student work is processed by our AI models via API. We use enterprise-grade agreements with third-party AI providers that ensure they do not use your submitted data to train their public models.
- Confidentiality: Submitted documents are processed securely and are not accessible by any third parties, except as required to provide the service (e.g., the cloud processing provider).
- Accuracy Disclaimer: While we strive for high accuracy, AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or misinterpreted. We are not liable for any errors or omissions in the AI-generated feedback.
4. User Responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (email and password).
- You agree to use our services in compliance with all applicable local laws and regulations regarding data privacy and education.
- You retain ownership of the content you upload, but you grant us a license to process it for the sole purpose of providing the service to you.
- You agree not to use the service to process illegal or harmful content.
